www.argyllcommunities.org is a web portal designed to link the voluntary sector in Argyll and Bute under a common umbrella. The ACWP is a vehicle for smaller community groups and voluntary organisations as well as larger ones to join together to produce a useful site for the inhabitants of Argyll and Bute. The ACWP also contains information pages and useful links to help voluntary organisations with their governance, training and funding.

The advantages for groups to join the ACWP are as follows:

• Easily maintained website – no prior web building knowledge required – just keyboard skills and basic ability to access the internet.
• A news and events system that puts your news and events on the front page for all to see – automatically
• Unlimited telephone help
• Comprehensive on-line instructions
• Two entry levels
  -  A one page site including the news and events system - £10 annual fee
  - unlimited pages, and sub pages, including the news and events system and a one hour tutorial - £40 annual fee
