About Victim Support

Victim Support Scotland offers emotional support and advice to any person affected by crime.  We have trained volunteers who either work in the community visiting people or in the court helping witnesses on the day of a trial. 

We will help with information and advice and can guide you through a Criminal Injuries Compensation Application.  We can even help you with more immediate practical issues.

• You don't have to have reported a crime to the police to use our services
• Our services are free and confidential
• You don't have to have been the victim to talk to us
• We support people affected by any type of crime including antisocial behaviour 
• We work with male and female victims of rape and domestic abuse 

Above all, you don't have to make us believe you, we already do.
