North Argyll Community Trust

Welcome to NACT

WHO WE ARE

Whilst North Argyll is fortunate in being served by a wealth of voluntary groups, the idea of a Community Trust developed from a sense these groups could themselves benefit from a support organisation.

Argyll and Bute Council and the Scottish Executive have specific commitments and strategies to serve the community, but there are niche areas that remain unsupported. To help meet these requirements the North Argyll Community Trust was set up in 2000, as a non-politiacal enabling organisation.

The Trust, whichis a registered Charity  is  run by a Board of ten members, who represent a cross section of business and voluntary group interests, together with one part-time administrator.

Our area includes all mainland Argyll from Kilninver northwards, and include the islands of Lismore, Kerrera, Seil, Easdale and Luing.
